Terms and conditions

Who we are
Naam (naamapp.com) is a service for preparing and sending quotes; its provider is called “we” in these terms. Contact: support@naamapp.com.
Accepting these terms
Creating an account in Naam or using it means accepting these terms, the privacy policy and the refund policy. “User” means the account holder and the members of their workspace; “client” means anyone who receives a quote link.
The service
Naam is a tool to prepare quotes, send them as a link, record a client's approval or change request, and follow the payments agreed between a user and their client.
A quote's page may answer a client's questions with an answer written by an AI model from the quote and the user's ready answers only; any question they do not answer, or that asks for a change, is passed to the user. The user alone remains responsible for their quote and their ready answers.
A client's approval is not a legal signature
Naam records the name a client types when approving, the date of the approval, and the version of the quote approved. That record is not a legal signature; we are not a party to any agreement between a user and their client, and both are solely responsible for what they agree.
Money between a user and their client
We never receive, hold or move money for a user or their client. Naam shows the payment details the user sets, the client pays the user directly, and Naam only records the payments reported to it.
Accounts and user responsibility
Sign-in is with a Google account, or with a code sent to an email address at each sign-in; there is no password. Each user keeps their email secure, since whoever can open it can sign in. The owner of a workspace is responsible for its members and for everything sent from it, for the prices, taxes and details in its quotes, and for the right to use the logo and names it adds.
Acceptable use
Naam must not be used for fraud, to impersonate another party, to ask for card details or passwords, or for anything that breaks the law or Paddle's acceptable use policy. We may suspend a workspace that does, and its quote links then stop showing to clients.
Plans and payment
The free trial is once per email address, lasts 14 days from signing up with the limits shown on the pricing page, and no new quote can be sent after it without a subscription. Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically until cancelled, at the price shown when subscribing.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.Cancelling
A subscription can be cancelled at any time from the subscription page in Naam. Pro stays until the end of the paid period, then the account returns to the free trial with its data and quotes kept.
Changes to prices and features
An existing subscription keeps its price if prices change later, and no paid feature is removed without notice.
Refunds
The first payment can be refunded within 30 days of its date; the refund policy has the details.
Data
A user's data belongs to the user. It can be exported at any time, the account and its data can be deleted, and the privacy policy explains what we keep and why.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Naam running without interruption, but it is provided as is, without warranty. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to what the user paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms and will post any material change on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use Naam after that means accepting the change.
Buying through Paddle
Purchases through Paddle are also governed by Paddle's buyer terms.
